This just in!!!

A gang of white-trash Cali-punks have jumped the legendary singer Niel Young (who by the way ain't all that young any more so he should stop callling him self that - "Call Things By Their Rightful Names" someone very wise once said - so what's up with this dude... I mean, how's that for a midlife crisis, ha???)and poetryslammed the living crap out of him imposing their lyrics as more in pace with current currents, i.e. contemporary non-fossil rock 'n roll. As the old singer icon was transported to the nearby whisky bar to drench his sorrows in the good ol' fire water the punk gang hanged arround for a while singing following song:

Corazon De Oro

It's over before it starts, oh don't you know
So on your marks stand by, Ready go
From London to New York, Montreal to Tokyo
I see visions of her, everywhere I go
What have I become?
Now that I'm alone

I'm just looking for, a way to break on through these walls and
I'm just looking for, a place that I can call my home and
Has anybody out there got a soul?
'Cuz I'm just looking for a girl, the girl with a heart of gold

She overturns once again with her, oh with her champagne taste she goes
Straight down the rathole with her, total recklessness
Tomorrow will come on through, and I got nothing but abandonment
Nothing but a silhouette girl, met her in darkness

I say.. What have I become?
Now that I'm alone

I'm just looking for, a way to break through these walls and
I'm just looking for, a place that I can call my home and
Is anybody out there, got a soul?
'Cuz I'm just looking for a girl, the girl with a heart of gold
I said I'm just looking for a girl, the girl with a heart of gold

Yeah I'm in the corner I start over - I start the whole thing clean, yeah
All the pain and heartache in all my years, I was always to blame
And I dream of this girl - yeah an angelical ghost
I saw dancing through neighborhood
I'm a downtown member in a front line - Don't let me be misunderstood
Oh, I'm a downtown member in a front line - Don't let me be misunderstood

(Heart of gold!)

I'm just looking for a way to break through these walls and
I'm just looking for a place that I can call my home and
Has anybody out there, got a soul?
'Cuz I'm just looking for a girl, the girl with a heart of gold
I said I'm just looking for a girl, the girl with a heart of gold

HEART OF GOLD

I want to live,
I want to give
I've been a miner
for a heart of gold.
It's these expressions
I never give
That keep me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.
Keeps me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.

I've been to Hollywood
I've been to Redwood
I crossed the ocean
for a heart of gold
I've been in my mind,
it's such a fine line
That keeps me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.
Keeps me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.

Keep me searching
for a heart of gold
You keep me searching
for a heart of gold
And I'm getting old.
I've been a miner
for a heart of gold.

NEIL YOUNG

"This song put me in the middle of the road. Traveling there soon became a bore so I headed for the ditch." - Neil Young

"The only time it bothered me that someone sounded like me was when I was living in Phoenix, Arizona, in about '72 and the big song at the time was "Heart of Gold." I used to hate it when it came on the radio. I always liked Neil Young, but it bothered me every time I listened to "Heart of Gold." I think it was up at number one for a long time, and I'd say, "Shit, that's me. If it sounds like me, it should as well be me." - Bob Dylan
